Job description

We're partnering with a manufacturing organization to find a Shipping and Receiving Inventory Clerk. This is a Temp to Perm position based on-site in Two Rivers, WI, lasting between 27 and 52 weeks. Join a busy environment that ensures accurate inventory management and logistics support for a metal manufacturing shop.

Shipping and Receiving Inventory Clerk Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, package, and ship finished goods according to company and customer specifications.
  • Receive incoming materials, verify quantities and part numbers, inspect for damage, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Manage accurate recording of all shipping and receiving transactions and logs.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other handling equipment safely as needed.
  • Support inventory activities by tracking movements, maintaining organized records, and assisting in inventory audits.

Shipping and Receiving Inventory Clerk Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in shipping/receiving and inventory control, preferably in metal manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain inventory accuracy and reference purchase orders to ensure material availability.
  • Experience with shipping software and ERP/MRP systems is preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to operate forklifts and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
