Role Overview
The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of warehouse inventory through meticulous monitoring, organization, and documentation. This role involves overseeing all aspects of inventory control, ensuring that the warehouse is organized for maximum efficiency, and performing regular audits to prevent discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management & Auditing
- Oversee and maintain accurate inventory levels to ensure order fulfillment and shipping continuity.
- Conduct daily cycle counts and lead year-end physical inventory counts.
- Establish and manage cycle count schedules.
- Utilize systems such as NetSuite to validate purchase orders and track inventory movements.
Warehouse Operations & Organization
- Oversee the re-organization of warehouse space to optimize flow and accessibility.
- Unload incoming shipments from vendors using equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Restock the warehouse promptly when inventory levels run low.
- Assign all new products to designated bins and ensure every item is properly barcoded.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in inventory control, purchasing, or warehouse management.
- Proficiency in Oracle/NetSuite or similar ERP systems and Microsoft Outlook.
- Strong understanding of procurement, pricing, and order picking processes.
- Ability to communicate effectively with vendors regarding product issues, damaged goods, or invoice discrepancies.

Work Schedule
Flexible daytime hours, Monday through Friday, no evenings or weekends
Lunch Break
12:00 PM to 12:30 PM
Personal Time
1 week after 1 year; 2 weeks after 2 years; 3 weeks after 5 years
Paid Holidays
Employees receive paid time off for the following holidays, provided they work the scheduled day before or after the holiday:
