OES Equipment, part of the DPR Family of Companies, is a fast paced and innovative construction consumable, heavy equipment rental company who is seeking aWarehouse Associate/Backup Driverto support ourAmarillo, TX location. We are looking for a reliable and versatile team player to support daily warehouse operations andassistwith deliveries as needed. This hybrid role is critical in ensuringaccurateandtimelyorder fulfillment, as well as contributing to warehouse best practices and inventory control. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of stepping into a driving role whenrequired.Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to the following:

Duties and Responsibilities

Order Fulfillment & Shipping Coordination

  • Pull customer orders accurately and efficiently.

  • Safely load and unload trucks according to delivery schedules.

  • Perform cycle counts and verify inventory accuracy.

  • Pull and process transfers between locations.

  • Receive incoming stock and update BIN locations accordingly.

  • Face shelves/ restock inventory regularly,in accordance withFIFO practices.

  • Conduct general warehouse housekeeping and cleanliness tasks.

  • Verify packing slips and ensure orders match documentation- using the double-check process to prepare shipments before dispatch.

  • Assist with Will Call pickups and coordinate with customers, as needed.

  • Update and verify Will Call purchase orders (POs) and ensure proper receiving into the system.

  • File PODs (Proof of Delivery) and other shipping paperwork; deliver toappropriate internalstaff.

  • Prolonged periods of standing, walking, lifting, and loading.

  • Must be able to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds at times as needed.

Vehicle Operation (Backup Driver)

  • Serve as backup delivery driver when primary driver is unavailable.

  • Periods of sitting in a vehicle/truck andoperatingthe vehicle/truck safely for local deliveries.

  • Communicate professionally with customers before and at the time of delivery, confirming delivery details in advance, promptly notifying customers and internal staff ofdelaysand communicating any issues that arise.

  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.

  • Maintain regular cleaning and basic upkeep of company vehicles, as needed.

  • Track maintenance intervals and report any vehicle issues promptly.

  • Adhere to best practice standards for Product/ Equipment drop-off and collection

  • Maintains compliance with all FMCSA regulations, and company vehicle guidelines whenoperatinga vehicle.

Equipment & Safety

  • Operate warehouse equipment (based on training and certification).

  • Unload equipment, asrequired(based on training) in adherence to safety protocols.

  • Secure loads for transport in compliance with safety protocols.

  • Follow all safety policies and procedures during warehouse and driving activities.

  • Assistwith pre-trip inspections and loading verifications.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

  • Positive interpersonal skills and strong work ethic.

  • Strongverbal communication skills, especially in customer interactions.

  • Ability to work in both a team environment as well as independently.

  • Self-driven; ability to work in afast-pacedenvironment.

Education and Experience

  • Prior warehouse and trailer experience preferred.

  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record. Pass a drug screen if needed.

  • Must meet and follow all regulations set forth by FMCSA relevant to the class of operator.

  • Experience operating warehouse equipment (preferred or training provided).

  • Construction supply and equipment knowledge a plus.

  • Experience with operatingvarious typesof construction equipment a plus.

  • Rental Man software experience a plus.
