Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor

SUMMARY

American Fan is looking for a Material Handler โ€“ Water Spider in the warehouse. This role will be responsible for picking and kitting parts to support fan production. Also trained as backup driver for milk runs/local deliveries and backup Receiving Coordinator. This role will be key to focus on accuracy, speed, as well as clear communication with warehouse, production, planning, and purchasing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Pick, kit, and stage parts in the warehouse per production schedule.
  • Deliver kits from warehouse to plant to support fan build start times.
  • Follow Teams schedule and coordinate with planners, supervisors, and operators.
  • Keep parts organized, labeled, and easy to find and cycle count.
  • Support inventory control and 5S activities.
  • Train to drive company vehicles for milk runs and local deliveries.
  • Safely load/unload and deliver materials; complete delivery paperwork.
  • Assist with receiving as needed: verify shipments, check for damage/accuracy, and ensure proper system entry and storage.
  • Communicate material issues and shortages quickly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred .
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing performance indicators (productivity, utilization, efficiency).
