Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Specialist to join our logistics team. In this role, you will oversee the efficient movement of goods into and out of our warehouse, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, proper inventory management, and adherence to shipping regulations. The ideal candidate will possess Forklift experience, computer proficiency, strong organizational skills, experience with warehouse operations, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy. This position plays a vital role in supporting our supply chain processes, enhancing customer satisfaction, and ensuring timely delivery of products.


Duties

  • Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities against purchase orders, and inspect goods for damage or discrepancies.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments by selecting, packing, and labeling products according to customer specifications and shipping standards.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, and pallet jacks
  • Coordinate with logistics providers to arrange transportation, schedule pickups, and ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts using data entry skills and inventory management tools to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Ensure proper packaging of products for safe transit while adhering to trade compliance and safety standards.
  • Assist with order picking & packing processes using order pickers and other equipment to fulfill customer orders promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse to promote safety and operational efficiency.


Requirements

  • You must have at least 2+ years of recent Shipping & Receiving Experience
  • You must have at least 2+ years of Forklift Experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for data entry, reporting, and communication purposes.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory accuracy and documentation.
  • Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to weights/quantities, and data verification.
  • Must be able to work 1st Shift - Monday - Friday 5:30am - 2pm plus overtime during the week and on Saturday as needed.
