Job description

Summary

The Order Fulfillment & Shipping Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and overseeing daily warehouse and shipping fulfillment operations, including order processing, inventory accuracy, outbound shipping, and workflow efficiency. This role ensures the timely and accurate fulfillment of orders across retail, wholesale, custom, and direct-to-consumer channels, while maintaining compliance with company standards and operational procedures.

This position provides daily operational direction and coaching to the fulfillment team, but formal HR responsibilities (e.g., hiring, corrective action, performance reviews, payroll adjustments) fall under the Warehouse Manager.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Oversee daily warehouse and shipping workflows to ensure efficient and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Utilize NetSuite ERP for order management, inventory reconciliation, and workflow reporting.
  • Manage outbound shipping and cartonization processes through ShipJunction to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
  • Assist in processing and completing customer, wholesale, and retail orders as needed.
  • Monitor and resolve inventory discrepancies to maintain accuracy and system integrity.
  • Address issues related to the trouble table and daily shelving.
  • Coordinate receiving, stocking, bin organization, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
  • Ensure materials are available to support production schedules and delivery requirements.
  • Communicate and collaborate with freight, parcel, and cartage service providers to support outbound shipping needs.
  • Maintain safety standards, proper equipment use, and workplace cleanliness in coordination with facilities.
  • Provide daily operational guidance to team members, including task assignment, training support, and workflow prioritization.
  • Track and report departmental performance metrics; recommend process improvements to enhance accuracy, speed, and service levels.
  • Participate in company-sponsored events, functions, and initiatives as a member of the operations leadership team.
  • Perform other operational duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in parcel packaging, warehousing, inventory control, or shipping services.
  • Minimum of two (2) years in a lead or supervisory capacity.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
  • Proficiency with office productivity software and enterprise systems, including NetSuite ERP, ShipJunction, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.
  • Successful completion of the company’s background screening process.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, twist, push, pull, and lift up to 45 pounds.
  • Ability to read invoices, spreadsheets, and shipping documentation with accuracy.
  • Ability to perform essential functions in an environment with varied noise levels.
  • Compliance with company Exposure Prevention, Preparedness, and Response protocols, including use of PPE and cleaning/disinfection supplies as required.
