One Allied Way Manchester, CT 06042

Allied Printing Services, Inc. is searching for a Shipping Clerk is responsible for preparing, organizing, and coordinating all outbound shipments to ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery. This position will work with multi departments to include pressroom, bindery, mailing, finishing, large format, and production teams to safely move printed materials through the final stages of production and shipment. Join our Team!!! What You'll Do:
  • Coordinate the movement of materials and finished products throughout the facility to support a smooth and efficient production process.
  • Accurately package, label, and prepare outgoing shipments in compliance with company procedures and carrier requirements.
  • Verify order accuracy using packing lists, shipping software, and inventory systems while maintaining detailed shipment records.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products prior to shipment to ensure customer expectations and company standards are met.
  • Schedule freight and parcel carrier pickups and communicate shipment status and delivery information with internal departments.
  • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment to transport materials and completed orders.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safety-focused work environment while demonstrating dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
  • Identify opportunities to improve shipping, packaging, and material-handling processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with production, inventory, and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Help drive operational excellence by supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the shipping and logistics department.
What You Bring:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior shipping experience, preferably in printing or manufacturing.
  • 1-3 years of hands-on shipping or warehouse experience.
