Job description

WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE
Automation Personnel Services is seeking an experienced and dependable Warehouse Associate for a company based in Theodore, AL. In this position, you will perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse. Deliver parts to clients as needed.
Pay Rate
$15 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
Warehouse Associate Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
• Sort and place material or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat
• Ability to use computer to enter order and inventory data accurately
• Any other duties as requested by respective supervisor and/or manager
Warehouse Associate Qualifications and Requirements
• One to two years of warehouse related experience in shipping and receiving
• Experience operating Forklift
• Excellent work ethic; ability to work self-directed and as a flexible team player
• Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed
• Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50 lbs. Lift assessment performed.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
• Qualified applicants must be able to pass a background check, MVR check and drug screen
