We’re hiring a detail-driven Shipping & Logistics Coordinator to manage daily outbound and inbound shipping workflow. This role handles freight coordination, delivery qualification, shipping paperwork, Sage 50 notes and attachments, warehouse coordination, tracking, and customer / carrier communication.

  • Verify shipping addresses and site conditions using Google Maps / Street View
  • Confirm commercial vs residential, dock / no dock, forklift / liftgate, limited access, and appointment requirements before booking freight
  • Request, compare, and organize freight quotes
  • Negotiate with brokers and carriers for best-fit pricing, transit time, and service reliability
  • Enter clear shipping notes and upload documents into Sage 50
  • Print and organize packing slips, packing detail sheets, labels, BOLs, and shipping backup
  • Maintain clean shipment records, notes, attachments, and backup documentation
  • Coordinate with warehouse, customers, carriers, brokers, Accounting, and Orders
  • Follow up on tracking, appointments, PODs, redelivery issues, and freight exceptions
  • Process shipment paperwork and labels using FedEx, UPS, and related shipping systems when needed

  • Reliable attendance and punctuality are mandatory
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
