Description

A Warehouse Generalist at Baden Sports owns the customer returns process while supporting day-to-day warehouse operations. This position ensures returned products are received, inspected, processed, and accurately recorded so inventory remains accurate and available.
 

In addition to managing returns, this role provides operational support across the Distribution Center, including inbound receiving, inventory control, container unloading, shipping support, and other cross-functional projects. Success in this position comes from attention to detail, strong communication, personal ownership, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities: 


Returns Operations
  • Receive, inspect, and process customer returns accurately and efficiently.
  • Record all return transactions in Microsoft Business Central.
  • Determine proper product disposition following company guidelines.
  • Return approved inventory to stock while maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Communicate return issues and product concerns to appropriate departments.
  • Maintain organized documentation and accurate records.

Warehouse Operations
  • Assist with unloading inbound containers.
  • Receive and put away inventory.
  • Support inventory control activities including cycle counts and product organization.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.

Cross-Functional Support
  • Assist shipping, receiving, and customization departments as business needs require.
  • Support seasonal projects and operational initiatives.
  • Participate in process improvement efforts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

  • Reading, writing, and basic math skills are required.
  • Comfortable using computers and learning ERP software.
  • Standing for extended periods of time.
  • Bending, pushing, pulling, and repetitive movement.
  • Ability to lift 25-50 pounds in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Ability and willingness to operate Powered Lift Equipment. Training is provided; previous experience is preferred but not required.
  • Maintain excellent attendance and reliability.


Required Education, Experience and Skills: 

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Warehouse, inventory, receiving, or returns experience is helpful but not required.
  • Experience using ERP or inventory management software is preferred but not required.
  • Forklift or warehouse equipment experience is a plus.
  • Available to work extended hours when business needs require.
