Company Description Chief Enterprises LLC delivers design, engineering, and distribution solutions for electro-mechanical and solid-state components that support both current and emerging technologies. The company serves on- and off-road original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and their suppliers with a broad range of parts, including connection systems, circuit breakers, relays, and power distribution modules. Chief also provides value-added services such as custom part design and tooling, modification of existing parts, and creation of custom kits and assemblies.


Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Shipping and Receiving Clerk / Warehouse Associate role based in Elmhurst, IL. We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented employee to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will manage incoming and outgoing shipments, verify inventory accuracy, and ensure our logistics operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and prioritizes workplace safety.


Key Responsibilities

  • Unload incoming delivery trucks and inspect goods for damage or discrepancies.
  • Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and bills of lading.
  • Prepare, pack, label, and stage outgoing orders for carrier pickup.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using our warehouse management system.
  • Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse workspace.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 1โ€“2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or general warehouse logistics.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Familiarity with inventory software, scanners, or basic computer logging.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
