Job description

Packaging & Shipping Associate
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packaging & Shipping Associate to package, secure, stage, and load finished products according to company safety and quality standards. This position requires forklift experience and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse/manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate a sit-down forklift and maintain clear, organized staging areas.
  • Move and verify finished rolls, including proper stacking, alignment, and packaging.
  • Cut wood supports using a table saw and stabilize pallets with wood supports, strapping, and wrapping.
  • Weigh and stage finished skids and report weight discrepancies to Quality.
  • Pull and load orders accurately according to load plans.
  • Maintain inventory and ensure pallets are properly labeled and stored.
  • Replace wrap film as needed and maintain a clean, safe shipping area.
  • Work closely with Inventory, Quality, and Production teams to meet shipping deadlines.

Qualifications:
  • Current or previous forklift experience; ability to meet ETI certification requirements.
  • Warehouse or manufacturing experience required.
  • Knowledge of pallet patterns, roll stability, and basic weight verification.
  • Ability to safely operate a table saw.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to read labels, work orders, and load plans.
  • Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and frequently bend, lift, and twist.
  • Ability to lift 50–100 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in warehouse conditions with fluctuating temperatures.

Schedule:
  • Full-time
  • 12-hour rotating shifts
  • 2nd Shift: 6:00 PM–6:00 AM
