As our innovative business grows rapidly, we are seeking a Warehouse Shipper to join our team in Richmond, BC. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Shipping Associate is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and safe shipment of customer orders while maintaining food safety, quality, and warehouse standards in a cold chain environment.

Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00am-6:30pm
Wage: $23/hour (paid on weekly basis!)
Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare, verify, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Palletize, stage, wrap, and label pallets daily
  • Ensure all orders are correctly packed, labeled, and invoiced prior to shipment/pick up
  • Confirm all shipments are picked up as scheduled
  • Operate warehouse equipment(walkies, forklifts, OPR) safely to move and load product
  • Adhere to GMPs, HACCP, SQF, and all food safety and quality standards
  • Maintain clean, sanitary, and organized shipping/working areas
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Report any issues related to food safety, product quality, equipment, or personnel safety to the supervisor
  • Maintain shipping equipment to Intercity Packers standards
  • Perform other related department duties as assigned


Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience operating walkies, forklifts and pallet jacks is an asset. We provide in-house training and certification
  • Comfortable working in a refrigerated warehouse environment
  • Ability to be multi-task, handle customer inquiries and request
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to solve routine problems using established procedures
  • Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
  • Ability to lift up to 25 kg safely
