Job Description Job Title: Pick/Pack Shipping Manager Location: Battle Creek, MI (Fort Custer area) Shift: Days 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Position Overview: A large organization is seeking a Pick/Pack Shipping Manager to lead outbound warehouse operations. This role is responsible for the coordination of all picking and packing functions, ensuring 100% accuracy and on-time shipments. The ideal candidate is a performance-driven leader who thrives in high-volume environments and is committed to continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities Direct daily activities for picking, packing, and loading teams to ensure accurate, on-time delivery. Evaluate and optimize workflows to reduce errors, shrinkage, and transit damage through improved packaging or automation. Enforce strict Quality Control (QC) inspections to maintain item accuracy and condition.

Manage staff lifecycle, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance development. Oversee warehouse safety, sanitation, and OSHA compliance. Coordinate with carriers to manage freight movement and resolve shipping discrepancies.

Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in high-volume E-commerce or 3PL warehouse operations. Proven leadership experience managing teams of 20+ associates. Technical proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), RF scanners, and ERP systems.

Advanced Excel skills for generating KPI reports on fulfillment speed and accuracy. Physical ability to spend a full shift on the warehouse floor and occasionally lift heavy items. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a team-oriented environment with a self-starter mindset.
