The Packing & Shipping Associate is responsible for executing outbound logistics activities with accuracy, speed, and compliance. This role ensures that customer orders, internal transfers, and distribution shipments are prepared, packaged, and dispatched according to defined operational standards and systemโ€‘driven workflows.
A Typical Day in the Life Includes:
  • Order Fulfillment - Pick, verify, and prepare outbound orders based on systemโ€‘generated tasks, ensuring alignment with customer specifications and shipping requirements.
  • Packing Operations - Package materials using approved methods, materials, and labeling standards to protect product integrity and meet regulatory guidelines.
  • Shipping Execution - Generate shipping documents, apply carrier labels, and stage shipments for pickup according to daily schedules and serviceโ€‘level commitments.
  • System Transactions - Complete all outbound confirmations, shipment postings, and documentation within the enterprise system (e.g., Infor WMS/ERP) to maintain realโ€‘time visibility.
