Job Title: Warehouse Associate - Shipping

Location: In-person, Lubbock, TX

Job Classification: This is a non-exempt, regular, full-time position.

Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate – Shipping is responsible for preparing and processing outbound shipments, ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and shipped in a timely manner. This position plays a key role in maintaining efficient shipping operations and delivering exceptional service to customers. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Pick, pack, and prepare products for shipment based on customer orders, ensuring accuracy and proper packaging.
  • Verify that all outgoing orders match shipping instructions, including product quantities, sizes, and specifications.
  • Label and prepare shipping documents, including shipping labels, packing slips, and invoices.
  • Organize and stage orders for pickup by carriers (UPS, FedEx, freight, etc.), ensuring timely and accurate shipments.
  • Assist in coordinating daily shipments, ensuring that all orders are processed within established timeframes.
  • Perform regular quality control checks to ensure that products are correctly packed, secured, and ready for shipment.
  • Communicate with the Shipping Manager or Warehouse Manager regarding any discrepancies or issues with outgoing shipments.
  • Maintain a clean and organized shipping area, ensuring safety and efficiency.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and RF scanners safely and efficiently.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure safe handling and shipment of products.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in warehouse, shipping, or logistics roles preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment and documentation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet shipping deadlines.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with shipping software or warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and warehouse procedures.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift during an 8-hour shift.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and move products up to 50 pounds regularly.
