Summary of Job Duties:
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for maintaining inventory control of incoming and outgoing supplies and materials. Shipping and receiving clerk is also responsible for organizing, sorting and transferring goods from one location to another. Monitor packages from the start to finish, ensuring proper techniques are carried out. May operate lift truck or use hand truck to move, convey or hoist shipments from shipping platform to other locations. Unloads trucks and delivery receivables. Maintains an accurate log of daily moves along with scanning inventory and counting accurately. Provides additional backup support for shipping and receiving department. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency policy.
Qualifications:
Must be able to pull, push, lift a minimum of 30 pounds, strong sense of time organization and urgency, able to work independently and within a team. Must have valid Arkansas driver's license, high school diploma or equivalent.
