Job description

Title: Shipping Associate

Department: Shipping

Reports to: Operations Supervisor

Non-Exempt - Full-time

Work 4 days(10 hour shifts) and have a 3 day weekend?!


We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can easily pick up and learn new systems, all training is on the job! Schedule is Monday-Thursday, 10-hour shifts (Friday's on rare occassions).


Searching for an individual with the ability to communicate effectively and is Bilingual to help bridge various area's within the Shipping team. Major Responsibilities/Activities:

  • Print Sales orders for Pick and Pack
  • Pick orders for small parcel
  • Ship small parcel orders
  • Print Sales orders, packing lists and shipping documents for freight
  • Responsible for distribution of packing lists and documents to the correct parties
  • Print UCC-128 labels
  • File and maintain the BOLs in the appropriate locations, both physical and digitally
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Responsible for performing quality checks on outgoing freight and ensuring orders are complete and accurate
  • Ensure all packaged products have shipped for the day
  • Conduct inventory reporting/Cycle Counts
  • Operate packing out equipment and meet daily requirements for packing schedules
  • Additional duties or responsibilities as assigned by Manager

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • Bilingual (SPANISH/ENGLISH)
  • Experience working with WMS systems
  • Experience working with an ERP System (NetSuite is preferred)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills with the ability to multitask
  • Inventory, data entry and computer skills required
  • Good communication, organizational, time management mathematical skills
  • Previous warehouse experience

Physical demands and abilities

  • Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs occasionally team lift objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, kneel, crouch

Equipment used:

  • Pallet Jack
  • Ability to be trained on Stand-up Forklift (Previous Forklift Experience is a bonus)
  • Auto Cartoner Machine
