Nous recherchons une personne organisée, rigoureuse et soucieuse du détail pour se joindre à notre équipe à titre de Commis Expédition et Réception. Ce rôle combine des tâches administratives et opérationnelles : vous serez responsable de la gestion des expéditions et réceptions, de la saisie et de la validation des informations dans les systèmes, ainsi que du maintien de registres précis. Vous veillerez à l’exactitude des données, au suivi des marchandises et au respect des délais, tout en collaborant avec les équipes internes et les transporteurs.

Vos principales responsabilités seront les suivantes:

  • Déterminer le mode d’expédition et prendre les arrangements nécessaires; établir, à la main ou à l’ordinateur, les notes de chargement, les documents de douanes, les factures et autres documents d’expédition;
  • Assembler des boites, enveloppes, ou palettes de marchandise, en consigner le contenu à la main ou à l’ordinateur, emballer les articles à expédier au besoin et y apposer des étiquettes d’identification et des instructions d’expédition;
  • Surveiller le chargement et le déchargement des articles dans des camions ou autres véhicules;
  • Examiner et vérifier les articles en les comparant avec les factures ou d’autres documents, noter les articles manquants et retourner les articles endommagés;
  • Déballer, coder et distribuer les articles aux endroits d’entreposage appropriés;
  • Gérer les systèmes internes, manuels ou informatisés de conservation des dossiers;
  • Conduire, au besoin, un chariot élévateur, un chariot manuel ou tout autre équipement pour charger, décharger, transporter ou stocker les articles;
  • Effectuer toutes autres tâches telles que : aide à la production, installations diverses requises pour exposition promotionnelle.

Compétences et qualifications requises:

  • Diplôme d'études secondaires (DES) terminé;
  • Carte cariste pour conduite de chariot élévateur, un atout;
  • Excellente condition physique pouvant soulever des charges lourdes à l’occasion (jusqu'à 70 lb);
  • Connaître le système de mesure impérial (pied, pouces) et métrique (mètre, centimètre, millimètre);
  • Expérience en éclairage, un atout;
  • Fiabilité, assiduité et ponctualité;
  • Débrouillard, polyvalent, organisé et autonome;
  • Avoir une facilité d'apprentissage;

We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and thorough individual to join our team as a Shipping & Receiving Clerk. This role combines administrative and operational responsibilities: you will be responsible for managing inbound and outbound shipments, entering and validating information in our systems, and maintaining accurate records. You will ensure data accuracy, track shipments, and help meet delivery timelines while collaborating with internal teams and carriers.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Determining the shipping method and making the necessary arrangements; preparing loading notes, customs documents, invoices, and other shipping documents, either manually or electronically;
  • Assembling boxes, envelopes, or pallets of merchandise, recording the contents manually or electronically, packaging items for shipment as needed, and affixing identification labels and shipping instructions;
  • Supervising the loading and unloading of items onto trucks or other vehicles;
  • Reviewing and verifying items against invoices or other documentation, noting missing items, and returning damaged items. • Unpack, code, and distribute items to the appropriate storage locations;
  • Manage internal manual or computerized record-keeping systems;
  • Operate a forklift, hand truck, or other equipment needed to load, unload, transport, or store items;
  • Perform other duties such as assisting with production and setting up various promotional displays.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma (or equivalent);
  • Forklift operator's license (an asset);
  • Excellent physical condition, able to lift heavy loads occasionally (up to 70 lbs);
  • Knowledge of imperial (feet, inches) and metric (meter, centimeter, millimeter) measurements;
  • Lighting experience (an asset);
  • Reliability, diligence, and punctuality;
  • Resourcefulness, versatility, organization, and autonomy;
  • Ability to learn quickly;
