Job description

Summary
Shipping order puller and loader. Interpret daily orders, pull and package orders for staging and/or loading on to trailers. Accurately process paperwork to complete orders through the system. Packaging and loading orders to ensure the maximum utilization of truck space without compromising quality of parts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Must be forklift certified and be able to safely operate a forklift
  • Will be responsible for the accurate pulling, packaging, and staging of orders to meet on time delivery and quality targets and in a manner which prevents damage during transport
  • Must be able to accurately record, scan and maintain paperwork
  • Must have basic mathematical skills
  • Must have basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel
  • Must be able to physically perform job duties, with requires heaving lifting with or without accommodation
  • Must have a good attendance record
  • This position has a major emphasis on quality and accuracy
  • Must be able to work the necessary overtime when required, which may include weekends
  • Must be able to work any shift, which may include weekends
  • Must be willing to perform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be forklift certified
  • Basic Microsoft office applications and company operating and or MRP/SAP systems

Minimal to no travel requirements
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Reasoning Ability
Must have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be able to use a scanner and must be able to use company operating systems and basic Microsoft applications
Other Skills
  • Must be forklift certified
