Louis Industries is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Logistics Clerk to support our daily shipping, receiving, and material movement operations. This role plays an important part in ensuring materials, products, and documentation move accurately and efficiently throughout the facility and to our customers.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while collaborating closely with logistics, production, sales, and customer service teams.
What you'll do
Shipping & Receiving Support
  • Prepare pick lists, packing slips, bills of lading, and shipping paperwork
  • Coordinate outbound and inbound shipments with production, logistics, and sales teams
  • Verify shipment contents, labeling, and packaging accuracy prior to release
  • Receive incoming freight and maintain accurate receiving documentation
  • Support material movement throughout the facility, including supplying production areas and preparing outgoing shipments
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and staging materials as needed

ERP & Documentation
  • Enter and maintain shipping, inventory, and work order information within ERP systems
  • Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records
  • Support inventory cycle counts and assist with inventory discrepancy resolution
  • Manage documentation related to outsourced processing and return shipments

Customer & Vendor Coordination
  • Communicate with vendors, customer service, and internal teams regarding shipment status and scheduling
  • Provide shipment tracking updates and assist in resolving shipping-related issues
  • Support customer-specific shipping portal requirements when needed
  • Help maintain compliance with safety, quality, and ISO documentation standards
