Looking for a new opportunity?

Somic America is seeking a motivated, dependable team member to join our Shipping & Receiving Team. If you enjoy staying active, working in a fast-paced environment, and playing an important role in getting our products safely to our customers, we'd love to hear from you!

What You'll Do

As a Shipping & Receiving Operator, you'll help ensure materials and finished products move safely, accurately, and on time throughout our facility. Daily responsibilities include:

  • Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks
  • Prepare customer shipments, including staging, wrapping, strapping, and labeling
  • Verify shipments for accuracy before they leave the facility
  • Receive raw materials and maintain accurate inventory records using AIM
  • Transport materials and finished goods throughout the plant
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely
  • Maintain FIFO inventory practices
  • Process shipping paperwork, including FedEx, UPS, export, and service part shipments
  • Inspect and sort returnable packaging
  • Help maintain an organized, clean, and safe Shipping & Receiving area
  • Support continuous improvement (Kaizen) initiatives

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly (75 lbs. occasionally)
