Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Shipping & Handling Associate to join our team. This position is responsible for preparing, packaging, handling, and shipping products accurately and efficiently while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, organize, and store incoming materials and products.

  • Pick and prepare orders for shipment.

  • Package products securely and accurately.

  • Create label, label boxes, packages, and shipping documents correctly.

  • Schedule shipping

  • Load and unload shipments safely.

  • Operate carts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment as needed.

  • Fork lift/truck certification

  • Verify quantities, product information, and shipping details.

  • Maintain accurate shipping and inventory records.

  • Keep the shipping and warehouse areas clean and organized.

  • Follow company safety procedures and shipping requirements.

  • Communicate with production, purchasing, and management regarding shipping needs.

  • Report damaged products, shortages, or shipping discrepancies.

  • Perform other warehouse and shipping duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or material-handling experience preferred.
