Job description

Jack T. Carter Co., Inc. is a 54-year-old, woman/family-owned business based out of Northwest Arkansas. We are a fast-growing National HVAC Air Filter Distributor looking for a Part-Time Warehouse associate to help with daily operations and grow with our company. There is always room to grow here at JTCC and we are looking for someone to join our current team!

Part-time Warehouse Associate needed to work some weekdays in the Greenville/Spartanburg area.

No warehouse experience required but encouraged.

Hours: Monday/Wednesday/Friday 8 AM - 4:30 PM (Can discuss alternative work days and times if needed)

Salary: $20.00 per hour

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Wrapping, packaging, weighing, and measuring shipments

· Assisting in receiving and shipping with carriers

· Loading and unloading trucks

· Running general errands when needed (i.e. running to Lowe’s, Sam’s, etc. for supplies if needed).

· Assisting in keeping up general warehouse cleanliness. (i.e. mopping, sweeping, throwing out trash, stocking fridge, etc.)

· Assisting in organization of the warehouse (such as re-palletizing, moving pallets forward in their lanes, etc.).

Requirements:

• Background and drug test

• Must have dependable transportation

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Qualifications Include:

• Self-starter with a positive attitude

• Dependable

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to work with a team or independently

• Must be able to follow directions and complete tasks as instructed

• Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
