Schedule: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Job Summary

Our client, a growing manufacturing company, is seeking a reliable Shipping & Receiving Associate to support daily shipping, receiving, and inventory operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong shipping and logistics experience in a manufacturing environment and experience working with ERP or inventory management systems.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments while maintaining accurate inventory records. Forklift experience is a plus but is not required.


Key Responsibilities

  • Process incoming and outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare, package, label, and verify orders for shipment.
  • Receive incoming materials and inspect shipments for accuracy and damage.
  • Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records using an ERP or inventory management system.
  • Generate shipping documentation, packing slips, and labels.
  • Coordinate with production and quality departments to ensure timely material flow.
  • Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and stock organization.
  • Load and unload materials as needed; operate a forklift if qualified.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.


Requirements

  • Strong shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience using ERP systems (such as Plex, SAP, Epicor, Oracle, or similar) or inventory management software strongly preferred.
  • Strong computer and data entry skills.
  • Ability to read work orders, packing slips, bills of lading, and shipping documentation.
