Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Customer Service Representative to join our customer support team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional service through various communication channels. Your responsibilities will include addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring a positive experience that fosters loyalty. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to handle multiple tasks with professionalism and care.

Essential Duties:

  • Allocate orders in WMS
  • Generate UCC and shipping labels
  • Submit and collect routing requests
  • Create bills of lading
  • Invoice customers for value-added services
  • Keep customers updated on the status of their orders
  • Assist the CSR Manager(s), Captains, and other team members as needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a 3PL environment strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of general warehouse practices
  • Routing experience and vendor compliance for major retailers
  • Understanding of LTL vs. TL requirements
  • Small parcel shipping experience, including FedEx Ship Manager and UPS WorldShip
  • Knowledge of VICS bills of lading requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to meet and manage deadlines
