Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Virtual IEP Support & Clinical Supervisor

Location: California (Remote)

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday

Time: 8:00am-2:00pm

About Sparkle Where Our Voices Shine, Inc.

Sparkle Where Our Voices Shine, Inc. is a pediatric and school support speech-language pathology practice dedicated to providing exceptional speech and language services to children throughout California.

Position Summary

Sparkle is seeking a licensed California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a part-time remote position. This role is ideal for an experienced clinician who enjoys collaboration, mentoring, and participating in educational planning.

The SLP will primarily attend virtual Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, provide clinical supervision and mentorship to therapist and clinical staff, review documentation for compliance.

This position includes a guaranteed minimum of 10 paid hours per week and is scheduled Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Attend virtual IEP meetings as the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.

Provide clinical supervision to assigned therapist in accordance with California law and regulatory requirements.

Review treatment plans, progress reports, evaluations, and clinical documentation.

Ensure compliance with California licensure regulations, ASHA Code of Ethics, IDEA, and applicable payer guidelines.

Collaborate with families, school personnel, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams.

Provide clinical consultation and guidance regarding patient care.

Support therapists with treatment planning, documentation, and evidence-based intervention strategies.

Monitor quality assurance and documentation standards.

Participate in staff meetings and clinical consultations as assigned.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation.

Complete all required supervision records and compliance documentation.

Minimum Qualifications

Current unrestricted California Speech-Language Pathologist license.

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)

Must reside within the State of California.

Minimum two years of pediatric speech-language pathology experience preferred.

Experience supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) preferred.

Strong knowledge of IDEA, IEP procedures, California educational regulations, and insurance documentation requirements.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Reliable internet connection and appropriate technology for virtual meetings.

Preferred Experience

Pediatric outpatient or school-based experience.

AAC and Assistive Technology experience.

Autism Spectrum Disorder and neurodiverse populations.

Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Insurance-based pediatric services.

Knowledge of California compliance and documentation standards.

Guaranteed minimum of 10 hours per week, with opportunities for additional hours based on company needs.

Compensation: $65 an hour
