Job Description
The Shift Supervisor is a critical member of the operations team at Budlong Hot Chicken. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for the overall shift operation of the restaurant. Key responsibility areas include team performance, increased sales and profitability, effective cost controls, training and development, and retention of employees. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for working actively to ensure the restaurant meets financial and operating goals.
Requirements
Friendly, guest-focused individual who enjoys serving others in a team environment. Solid organization skills and attention to detail required. Strong focus on cleanliness and food safety standards. Works as a team player with other members of the management team.
Responsibilities
  • Runs and manages shifts effectively with a focus on his/her assigned area of responsibility
  • Ensures guest satisfaction and knowledge of guest recovery strategies
  • Effectively leads, develops and motivates the team
  • Provide direction and feedback to workers during shifts
  • Schedule employee shifts and assign duties
  • Manage time-off requests and handle last-minute absences
  • Delivers a quality product and experience based on brand standards and operating procedures
  • Train and coach new employees
