PRODUCTION - SALAD - MATERIAL HANDLER - 2nd Shift

Position Description

Main Plant โ€“ Material Hander

Overall Goal of Position:

Tactically and strategically source materials and packaging to support factory operations while supporting and building OurRecipe@SauerBrands:

Job Summary

Material Handlers will perform daily duties and tasks as outlined but not limited to loading and unloading trucks, stage and/or pulling selected orders for daily production and participating in general housekeeping as outlined by management.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Proven experience as a forklift operator.
  • Unload materials or production from incoming vehicles and relocate to proper destinations.
  • Ability to use RF scanner for picking, relocating, and production purposes.
  • Locate, stack, or palletize finished goods for shipping.
  • List production activity and log all completed tasks.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures as dictated by the organization or state and local agencies.
  • Identifying workplace hazards.
  • Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.
