Job description

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Electrical Helpers for an immediate project at Sheppard Air Force Base in Sheppard AFB, TX.

  • PAY: $20-$26hr
  • HOURS: Expected shifts will be 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday; approximately 40 hours per week
  • START DATE: ASAP
  • DURATION: 1 Month

Electrical Helper Job Description

Assist Journeyman Electricians on a commercial project by moving materials, organizing tools, and supporting electrical installations. Duties include assisting with material handling, maintaining a clean work area, and performing basic electrical tasks under the supervision of experienced electricians. Some previous electrical experience is preferred.

Qualifications for Electrical Helper

  • Previous electrical helper or construction experience preferred
  • Ability to assist electricians with material handling and job site support
  • Must be able to follow directions and work safely in a team environment
  • Must be able to safely use hand tools and wear required PPE
  • Must be able to perform job duties requiring standing, bending, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting materials throughout the workday
  • Position requires the use of PPE, including: Steel-Toe work boots, safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves

Additional Requirements

  • Background Check Required (Basic 7-Year)
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must have reliable transportation to the job site
