Position Description Job Title: Hannaford To Go Facilitator Department: Hannaford To Go Reports To: Assistant Store Manager Numbers and Titles of Associates Supervised: None Job Summary: As an Facilitator, you are the customer service liaison of the Hannaford To Go department. You are the voice the customer hears on the phone and the face they see at pickup, a true representative of Hannaford. You lay the groundwork for every customer pickup and delivery to be as smooth and quick as possible. Your role ensures that customers have a positive experience through accurate and fast orders that contain the highest quality fresh items from our shelves. Essential Job Functions: As a Hannaford To Go Facilitator, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day includes the following: Organize and prioritize shop and pickup processes. Conduct order reviews. Check code dates and fresh product quality with a focus on produce. Count parcels to ensure accuracy. Stage orders and consolidate bags when appropriate. Setup shopper carts. Partner with department leaders to ensure items requiring preparation are handled properly. Dispense pickup and delivery orders car-side to customers and last-mile delivery drivers. Monitor and manage all last-mile delivery orders through applicable dashboards. Monitor and manage all Flybuy orders through the staff dashboard app. Answer phone calls to address customer questions and arrivals. Adhere to order wait time and order completeness goals. Handle cash pickups and change orders as requested, logging as required. Verify all customer IDs presented and observe store policies pertaining to the acceptance of checks, and the sale of age restricted items. Qualifications: Effective communication and customer service skills. Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions (18 years of age). Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job. Demonstrated ability to perform the technical requirements for the Hannaford To Go Service. Duties and Responsibilities: Observe and follow all company policies and established procedures. Maintain a neat, well-groomed personal appearance. Ensure that return-to-stock items are handled in a prompt and orderly manner with the most immediate attention given to refrigerated and other perishable items. Support and comply with all company safety standards. Communicate any needed equipment repairs or maintenance work needed. Keep work area free from debris and safety hazards. Be knowledgeable in and able to recognize and differentiate between the various types of produce merchandise carried in the store, including differences between varieties of similar classes of products (e.g., apples, lettuces, etc.). Record on designated forms any price discrepancies and/or any "not on file" items that are encountered on electronic point-of-sale terminal. Secure registers, Mobile Point of Sale Equipment, Shopping Devices when leaving it unattended; protect company assets at all times. Perform all other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements: We care about our associates, so we want to be clear on some of the physical requirements of this role. Perform repetitive hand and arm motions while standing/walking during the majority of the shift. Ability to wear the shopping device, hands free while shopping orders. Bend and lift products weighing up to 15 pounds continuously, 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds on occasion. Push or pull up to 75 pounds on occasion. Work in and out of inclement weather when necessary. Gather up to five shopping carts and push them to designated areas. Have sufficient visual acuity to read the handheld unit display screen as well as check identification cards, checks, invoices, and other written documents.
