Key Requirements:
  • Must have SMAW and GTAW experience.
  • We are currently seeking an experienced Fitter to fit and tack all shell and tube heat exchanger components and assemblies for fabrication by welders.
  • H.S. diploma or equivalent; or equivalent experience, knowledge of fitting/welding procedures.
  • Must read and write English to read weld procedures and fabrication drawings and requirements.
  • Must be able to pass an ASME welding test and have an understanding and comprehension of the application of algebra and geometry.
  • Heat exchanger job shop or field fabrication experience preferred.
  • Required Tools: Hood, gloves, tape, square & center head, approved level, center punch, dividers, hammer, adequate toolbox.

Shifts:
  • Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Duration:
  • Temporary to Permanent
