Job Description

Title                       : SAP Basis (Portal Administration)

Location               : Houston, TX

Duration              : 6 Months

Interview            : Phone Interview

Responsibilities

  • Participating in application support activities, including interaction with end users, troubleshooting and correcting issues, and reporting to management.
  • Responsible for supporting Basis and Portal issues reported by end users.
  • Will be responsible for analyzing requirements, recommending preferred solutions based on technical standards and best practices.
  • Working directly with SAP and internal CPC IT functional teams to analyze issues and new designs.
Qualifications


Skill Requirement

  • 3+ years of SAP Basis experience is required
  • 3+ years of SAP Netweaver Portal Administration experience is required
  • 3+ years of SAP Netweaver Portal Java or WebDynpro ABAP development is preferred
  • Experience in UNIX shell programming, file handling and editing is preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience with SQL and relational databases is preferred
  • Strong experience working in a Windows Server environment is preferred

Experience

  • Experience in all phases of systems implementation, including analysis/design, development, documentation, testing, and support is required.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to investigate, diagnose, and solve complex problems quickly is required.
  • Ability to work independently in a team environment, to collaborate well with others and to coordinate with numerous teams and people to accomplish goals and assignments is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex problems and issues in a concise manner (oral/written) to customers, peers and upper management is required
