Job description

Job Details:

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is crucial for preventive maintenance, repair, and rebuild of equipment and systems within our facility

Pay range $20.35/hr - $29.10/hr. Based on Previous Experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preventive Maintenance: Maintain and rebuild machines, tender/shell belts, butterfly conveyors, skinners, and Sensor X equipment. Monitor and repair equipment during production, documenting all corrections.

  • Installation and Monitoring: Assist with new equipment installation. Monitor equipment drives, HMIs, and computer boards.

  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, blueprints, and manuals.

  • Repair and Replacement: Fix or replace motors, gearboxes, belts, cylinders, blades, and other components.

Job Requirements:

  • Applicants must have a minimum of 6 months of Industrial Maintenance experience.

Must provide a resume or manually enter work-related experience on application.

  • Work Schedule: Saturday and Sunday work required if needed. Collaborate with other maintenance personnel.

  • Skills: Ability to troubleshoot complex automated systems and learn equipment-specific training. Good hand-eye coordination.

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to climb ladders, lift over 40 lbs., and work in various climates.

  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Compliance: Adherence to OSHA standards and safety rules.
