Principal Duties In managing a team you will be required to recruit, manage, mentor, and retain a group of Mortgage Loan Originators Generate Loan Applications from past clients and referral based lead sources like Realtors, Builders, Financial Planners, or CPA's Think outside the box and work with Branch Manager and Regional Production Manager on recruitment efforts to help scale Regional team Have an excellent working knowledge of New Penn's products including (Conventional, FHA, VA, Jumbo, Investors, and Foreign Nationals) Stay informed of developing trends in the mortgage industry Leverage company reports to maintain high pull though ratio and efficient management of pipeline Desired Skills & Experience Minimum two years of mortgage loan originator experience High energy self-starter with strong industry related contacts Working knowledge of industry loan origination systems Understands regulatory and over view of lending environment (Dodd-Frank) Licensing Requirements Pass a NPF background check required for state licensing and have an active Illinois Residential Loan Originator license issued by the state of IL
