Location - Georgetown, DE

Sobieski New Homes of Georgetown, DE is looking to hire a full-time Residential New Construction Sheet Metal Installer. The successful Sheet Metal Installer is responsible for installing HVAC duct systems and related components in residential new construction homes. This position works closely with, foremen, superintendents, and construction teams to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to company quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience installing residential duct systems, reading plans, and working in various stages of single-family homes, town homes, and other residential new construction projects. This person would also help train Sheet Metal helpers and apprentices.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A RESIDENTIAL NEW CONSTRUCTION SHEET METAL INSTALLER

  • Licensed as a journeyman (preferred) OR 3+ years of new home construction experience
  • Knowledge of applicable state codes
  • Hands-on knowledge of residential HVAC construction 
  • Valid driver's license
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work outside in a variety of weather conditions, from heights, and in tight spaces
  • Have own hand tools regularly used by Sheet Metal Installers
