Position Description:

Set-up and operate various types of Sheet Metal, Bench, and Deburring Equipment under the direction of the area supervisor.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate various types of Sheet Metal, Bench and Deburring equipment.
  • Follow written work instructions and work to blueprints.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE.
  • Produce at standard and quality levels in accordance with company’s requirements. 
  • Responsible for accurately completing paperwork relating to counts, scrap, time, etc.
  • Maintain area, workbenches, equipment, and tooling in a neat, orderly condition.
  • Observe all Company policies, rules, and regulations including good housekeeping, safety and security 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be able to understand and interpret blueprints and sketches
  • Must have demonstrated mechanical ability
  • Must be able to maintain close attention to detail and accuracy
  • Must be able to manage time effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
