Position Summary
Advanced Sheet Metal, as a company within Lochridge-Priest, is locally owned and operated, and is the largest provider of residential and commercial heating and air-conditioning services and commercial plumbing services in Central Texas. With offices in Waco, DFW, Temple, and Corsicana and over 400 dedicated employees we're dedicated to serving your home, business, and industrial comfort needs. We work as a team to deliver best in class service to our customers. This position is responsible for providing top quality production of all types of Heavy Commercial HVAC ductwork in a timely and safe manner. Brand new, state of the art sheet metal shop, running at the correct speed to meet customer needs and company goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Reading and understanding blueprints prior to starting a project
  • Sourcing the materials to be used in the project
  • Measuring and cutting materials to specifications
  • Welding materials using the correct materials to join the metals together
  • Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints
  • Knowledge of various welding techniques, including TIG, MIG, arc, and oxy-fuel welding
  • Knowledge of manual and mechanical welding techniques
  • Being able to do other duties assigned outside of welding duties

  • Work as part of our team to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Valid social security number
  • Must be able to pass drug test(s) as required by company
  • Lift up to 50 pounds; be able to push, pull, carry or maneuver heavier items (with additional manpower or appropriate devices); carry ladders; work from heights, work in small crawl spaces.
  • Observe all company procedures and safety rules
  • Maintain accurate time records and send to payroll when required
  • Neat, professional appearance
