Metal Finishing Technician (Deburr Operator)

Pay: $17–$21 per hour depending on experience


This position is for candidates who have experience working with metal parts in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.

Applicants without manufacturing or metal finishing experience will not be considered.


Requirements

• Experience working with metal parts in a manufacturing, machining, or fabrication environment

• Ability to use grinders, deburring tools, files, and finishing equipment

• Ability to remove sharp edges and burrs from machined or fabricated metal parts

• Ability to inspect parts to ensure proper finish and quality

• Reliable transportation to work


Responsibilities

• Remove burrs and sharp edges from machined or fabricated metal parts

• Use grinders, files, and finishing tools to prepare parts for final production

• Inspect parts for quality and proper finish

• Work with machining and fabrication teams to maintain production flow

• Maintain a clean and organized work area


Work Environment

This position operates in a manufacturing or fabrication shop environment working with machined metal parts, grinders, and finishing tools.
