About This Job
The main purpose of this job is to support the daily management of IT Portfolio Management platforms (for example Planview), assisting with system configuration, user support, and basic workflow design. This role focuses on learning the system, supporting users, and maintaining data integrity. Job functions focus: Learning, supporting, and vendor engagement to support the system, assisting with routine tasks and reporting, and providing basic user support.
Essential Functions
  • Assist with system configurations, including basic fields, views, and security settings
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access requests
  • Support workflow setup for standard project tasks (e.g., approvals, status updates)
  • Import/export data while ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Generate basic reports and dashboards for project tracking
  • Provide first-level user support and troubleshooting
  • Conduct system monitoring and basic maintenance
  • Assist in gathering business requirements and documenting system needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
  • Basic understanding of Planview or similar IT Portfolio enablement management tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to troubleshoot basic user issues and system errors independently
  • Basic customer support abilities
  • Ability to follow structured processes
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Motivated and organized self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Education & Experience

  • Familiarity with project management methodologies preferred
  • Planview experience preferred
