This position is entirely remote, which allows for a greater work-life balance and the ability to reach clients across Elk Grove, California, and potentially beyond. Your role as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist will involve a variety of responsibilities crucial to delivering effective mental health care:

• Conduct psychosocial assessments to understand each client's unique challenges, strengths, and treatment needs, tailoring your approach for best outcomes.
• Design and implement comprehensive, family-centered treatment plans that are culturally appropriate and sensitive to the diverse backgrounds of clients.
• Provide a range of outpatient services, including individual and family counseling, using trauma-informed practices to guide therapy sessions.
• Collaborate effectively with other members of the clinical team and outreach services to ensure clients receive holistic support.
• Complete all required clinical documentation and maintain detailed case files following program standards and timelines.
• Assess and provide crucial crisis intervention as needed for clients in distress, ensuring their immediate safety and support.
• Manage a designated caseload, balancing treatment demands with clients' needs and program requirements.
• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and effectiveness as a mental health provider.

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals and families experiencing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Your focus on providing personalized and culturally responsive care will empower clients to improve their mental health and overall well-being. You will navigate the complexities of working with different age groups and backgrounds, fostering an inclusive environment where every client feels valued and understood.

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following:

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• An active clinical license in California (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) that is not contingent upon supervision.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a remote clinical team, demonstrating strong communication skills and professionalism.

Ideal candidates will have:

• A minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience working with vulnerable populations, demonstrating proficiency in various therapeutic modalities relevant to mental health treatment.
• Experience with telehealth platforms and the adaptability to engage clients virtually with empathy and understanding.
