Primary Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip inspections of the tractor‑trailer, completing the required DOT inspection documentation.
  • Verify bill of lading details and secure any required keys for off‑hour deliveries.
  • Operate the tractor‑trailer to assigned locations, adhering to commercial driving regulations and demonstrating safe maneuvering on highways and customer sites.
  • Maintain an accurate driver log (manual or electronic system) in compliance with DOT rules, recording delivery confirmations, product temperature readings, and any exceptions.
  • Unload cargo and place products at the customer’s premises as directed.
  • Perform other tasks as delegated by supervisors.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Minimum age of 21 years.
  • Current Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL‑A).
  • At least one year of experience or 50,000 verifiable miles operating a tractor‑trailer.
  • Pass the organization’s motor‑vehicle‑record (MVR) and risk‑assessment standards.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and comprehending English sufficient to follow work instructions, safety guidelines, and communications essential to the role.
  • Demonstrated traits: safety‑oriented, dependable, flexible, and committed.
