Job Description

Cintas is seeking an Apparel Sample Maker. Responsibilities include constructing and sewing top-quality samples using a straight-needle sewing machine; supporting and assisting in small lot cutting as needed; following verbal and written instructions from a tech package on how to construct garments; working closely with Technical Design and providing positive input and suggestions to improve sewing productivity and product quality.

Skills/Qualifications

Required

  • Proficiency in the use of straight-needle sewing machine
  • Ability to follow verbal instructions in English and read and follow written instructions in English
  • Experience cutting and sewing garments

Preferred

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Proficiency in the use of buttonhole and hemming machinery
