- Provide consultations for students, faculty, and staff on projects utilizing ProtoSpace resources.
- Provide support for users with the sewing, embroidery, sergers, and other small scale fabrication resources.
- Develop familiarity with broader library offerings and work alongside project collaborators to meet varied research needs.
- Collaborate with the team to create and deliver learning content in a variety of formats including in-person and video.
Minimum Qualifications
Preferences
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems and develop processes related to the use of technology.
- Familiarity with ProtoSpace equipment, services, and resources.
- Engaged and curious about a wide breadth of topics including but not limited to: rapid prototyping, sewing, digital design, multimedia production, puppetry, software development, electronic music composition, and/or teaching and learning technology.
- Strong communication ability and willingness to speak with a wide variety of patrons.
- Current University of Utah student enrolled in at least 6 undergraduate credit hours or 5 graduate credit hours during the fall and spring semesters.
