Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Operate all sewing machines in the Sewing Department as below.
2. Operate panel flanging machines.
3. Operate 4300 machines.
4. Operate CTL machines.
5. Operate Half-Cap machines.
6. Operate label machines.
7. Maintain hourly production rate.
8. Able to operate repair machines from time to time daily.
9. Check load sheet for first priority loading.
10. Get quilted panels for truck selected and place on load cart.
11. Get gussets and place onto load cart.
12. Inspection and repair of quilted panels.
13. Sort panel border.
14. Sort and stage product for matt build.
15. Scan all law tags.
16. Place cart into finished goods holding area for department.
17. Perform related duties as assigned.
 

Functional/Technical Competencies
Experience/Education

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
1. Ability to read, write and understand English
2. Basic Math skills are required
3. Production line experience helpful, but not required
4. Attention to detail is a must.
5. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, repetitively in a safe manner
6. Able to perform continuous physical exertion including lifting, bending, loading.
7. Punctuality and attendance is a must.
