POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for setting up the machine to perform many different sewing operations that join or reinforce materials. Understand the different types of stitching needed for various fabrics and related parts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow direction of leadership
  • Perform cleaning activities as required
  • Maintain a positive attitude
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by management
  • Work in any area needed by Leadership such as different lines, inspect area and etc..
  • Must be willing to learn all sewing operations within the line.
  • Must have the ability to operate or learn to operate various sewing machines including but not limited to the machines listed below under the skills section.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Experience is preferred, training is available.
  • Must be able to work in a team setting, be detail oriented and have a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions/detailed oriented
  • Ability to follow and understand schedules and process
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to sit for 8+ hours a day
  • Ability to work independently without close supervision
  • Ability to work flexible hours and overtime when required
  • Operate the following sewing machines or willing to learn single needed, multi-needle, serge, box tacker, various automated machines.
