Description

Under the direction of the Assembly Lead this position assembles, covers and repair seating pads for fitness equipment. This position differentiates from level II in that the incumbent may be learning to use the router and sewing machine, but does not do so regularly and independently.ย 


This ย ย list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded ย ย to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time:ย 

Requirements of All Levelsย 

  • Cut padding using band saw
  • Traces and cut upholstery material using scissors or razor blade
  • Covers assembled seating pad using staple and/or glue
  • Remove old covering, padding and defective wood from seat needing repair as needed
  • Have all necessary tools required at your work station and in proper working condition
  • Regular and reliable attendance
  • Keep area clean and organized
  • Follow safety procedures and instructionsย 
  • Maintain productivity throughout shift
  • Meet production expectations set by team lead
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Education:

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

Minimum Experience:

  • 3 months to 3 years related experience and/or training ย in upholstery, sewing, assembly, or related experience. ย ย ย ย ย
