This includes preparing material edges, setting proper temperature and pressure, aligning fabric accurately, and inspecting sealed seams for quality and strength.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
  • Basic math skills and ability to read measurements, shop drawings, or patterns.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn new equipment and processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with fabric welding / heat sealing equipment (training will be provided if needed).
  • Experience creating or working from patterns and templates.

What We Offer

  • Competitive hourly pay based on experience
  • Full on-the-job training for industrial sewing techniques, fabric welding (heat sealing/bar welding), and other production equipment
  • Opportunities for skill development and career growth
  • Supportive team environment focused on quality and craftsmanship
  • Fitzsimmons Awnings provides: health insurance, paid time off, 401(k), etc.]
