Are you passionate about bridal fashion, have an eye for detail, and love helping people feel their absolute best? At Luv Bridal, our Seamstresses play a vital role in creating a flawless final experience for our brides filled with joy, confidence, and lasting memories.


We're looking for a skilled and positive Bridal Seamstress to join our showroom. This role requires bridal gown alterations experience, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to connect with brides and their loved ones with warmth and professionalism. You will be the final voice of Luv and the last touchpoint in a bride's journey with us.


What You'll Do

As a Seamstress/Alterations Specialist, your role will be part artistry, part customer care. Responsibilities include:

  • Take precise body measurements (bust, waist, hips, inseam, etc.) and assess fit
  • Perform expert alterations on bridal gowns using hand and industrial sewing techniques
  • Pin, mark, and adjust garments as needed based on fittings and client feedback
  • Repair rips, reinforce seams, and make detailed adjustments as needed for fit and form
  • Collaborate with stylists and showroom leaders to meet fitting timelines and expectations
  • Provide a warm, supportive, and professional presence during fittings working closely with both brides and their guests
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Assist with gown care, steaming, or prep as needed

  • Previous experience in bridal alterations is required
  • Proficiency in hand and machine sewing techniques
  • Experience working with delicate and specialty fabrics (lace, tulle, satin, chiffon, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and a deep understanding of garment structure and fit
  • A warm, encouraging presence with excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours based on business needs (fittings, events, peak seasons)
