Resumen del Puesto
El/la Operador(a) de Máquina de Coser Industrial será responsable de operar máquinas de coser industriales, incluyendo máquina Serger/Overlock, para coser patrones y piezas previamente cortadas. La persona seleccionada deberá unir las piezas correctamente para formar productos terminados, incluyendo partes y tapetes.

Funciones Esenciales
  • Operar máquinas de coser industriales y realizar trabajos de costura Serger/Overlock y pespunte (top stitching).
  • Guiar las piezas debajo de la aguja siguiendo bordes, costuras, guías de la máquina o marcas en el material.

Summary: The Industrial Sewing Machine Operator is responsible for surging pre-cut patterns and able to sew pieces together to form complete parts/mats.
 
Essential Functions
  • Guide parts under needle following edges seam, and guides on machine bed or markings on part Industrial sewing including top stitching.
  • Cut and organize sewing supplies such as binding, webbing, cord, tape, or thread according to specific specifications or color of material as stated on work order.
  • Maintain raw material, cut excess thread or material.
  • Use proper equipment, tools, and fabrication techniques.
  • Responsible for using a tape measure.
  • Responsible for handling, positioning, and moving materials through the sewing and other manufacturing operations.
 
Qualifications
  • Must have Serger sewing machine experience: Minimum 3 year (Required)
  • Sewing/Upholstering experience preferred
  • Attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate mechanical skills.
  • Must be able to read a tape measure.
